Subscription Terms

Summary

These terms apply when you take out a personal subscription to EduMarkets directly through our website. Business accounts provided by an employer, a training provider or a workshop trainer are covered by a separate agreement with that organisation.

1. The service

The subscription gives one named person access to the EduMarkets learning platform and its whole catalogue. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

2. Price and billing period

The price and the billing period, either monthly or annual, are shown at checkout. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. Payments are collected by Stripe through its Link service, which is the merchant of record for the payment. The charge on your card statement appears as LINK.COM*.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time in your account settings, under Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Your access continues until that date. There is no partial refund for the remainder of a billing period, except where clause 6 or mandatory consumer law applies.

4. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the payment and emails you. Your access continues during a grace period after the missed renewal date. If no payment succeeds in that period, access stops. Your account and its data remain, and you can restart the subscription later.

5. Academic price

Students and academic staff of an educational institution can apply for the academic price. Approval is based on evidence and a human review. Approval is valid for twelve months.

When the verification expires, the next renewal is at the standard price. We email you at least thirty days before that date. If you renew the verification before it expires, you keep the academic price. You can renew at any time from your account settings.

6. Withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have a right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days of subscribing. During checkout you agree that your access starts immediately.

If you withdraw within the fourteen days, we refund the amount paid minus a proportional amount for the days of access already provided. This proportional deduction is what EU consumer law provides for services begun during the withdrawal period.

Renewals of an existing subscription are not new contracts, and no new withdrawal period applies to them.

To withdraw, email support@edu-markets.com within the fourteen days.

7. Refunds outside withdrawal

Stripe, as merchant of record, can refund a payment under its own buyer policies. This includes cases where we cannot be reached within its support window. A refunded payment can end the subscription. Access then stops at the refund.

8. Account deletion

Deleting your account cancels the subscription first. If the cancellation at the payment provider fails, the deletion is stopped, and you can try it again in a few minutes. If it keeps failing, contact support@edu-markets.com.

9. Changes to price or terms

We tell you by email at least thirty days before a price change or a material change to these terms applies to a renewal. If you do not agree with the change, you can cancel before the renewal, and the change will not take effect against you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this clause does not remove the mandatory protections that the law of your country of residence gives you.

11. Provider

The platform is operated by EduMarkets Technologies BV, Goirleseweg 70, 5026 PC Tilburg, the Netherlands. For any question about your subscription, email support@edu-markets.com.

Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. If anything in these terms is unclear, please email support@edu-markets.com and we will explain it.
